24th of July Saturday

We came prepared in bathing suits for the day activities on Saturday.  The kids talk about the dunking booth all year long.
Hayden did not want to get dunked but she was more than excited to dunk her brother.  Where's the love?
Hayden played her first season of t-ball in the spring and never once threw as hard or as far as she did while trying to dunk Tyson.  I guess it's all about the motivation with this girl :)

They set up the ropes course this year and I was so excited. I remember growing up and they had a ton of ropes you could go on.  When I was little they even had a zip line tire swing thing.  No zip line this year but a step in the right direction with this awesome ropes course! Tyson was the only brave kid of ours to do it.
After water slides, jump houses, games, hot dogs, scones, street tacos, bake sale treats, sodas, and popsicles, it was time for fire works!
This was Ryan's face until the first firework hit.  Then it was ears covered and clinging to Mom.
North Stake does the BEST firework show around.  Love, love, love, North Stake and their pioneer day celebration!!

  1. I thought the fireworks were extra awesome this year. And I too thought the rope thing was a good edition to the festivities.
