Little League

My boy has started another season of little league.  Can I tell you how much I love, love, love seeing my baby out there playing?!?  It makes me so happy!!!
It was pretty wild at opening ceremonies, we have done a season of fall ball but this is spring little league which is a little intense.  There were 30+ teams there and each walked in the parade and were introduced to the cheering crowds.
Each team has a banner with their information on it.
Smiling at Mom while walking in the parade...
Each team is required to make a basket of some sort with a bunch of goodies to be raffled off.  I thought it would be very generous of me to buy a few raffle tickets so I bought $20 worth and had Tyson put the tickets in whatever baskets he wanted.  Well we won three of them!!!!
We got a call to come and pick them up and were met by quite a few jealous people.  When they heard all we spent was $20 they were even more upset :)  One lady said she put $100 bucks in and didn't win anything!  I am seriously thinking about taking a trip to the casinos...

St Patrick's Day Party

Happy St Patricks Day!!!
Taylor and her preschool had a fun party on Wednesday.  I have never really given St Patrick's day much thought but this year we had planned this little party and last year I bought a bunch of decorations on clearance and was really excited for this crazy holiday.
I love that my kids will wear silly hats and costumes, it makes me so happy.  Hayden was actually pretty good at this party.  Usually in company she turns into a screaming brat.  I found the reason why she was so good when we got home.  She was too busy putting dirt in her hair and clothing to throw her usual tantrums.  That was a fun discovery :)
We did a bit of freeze dancing, some of the kids had serious moves.  Taylor and Hayden mostly jumped up and down.
They made a fun rainbow craft.  They strung fruit loops on green strings with cool shamrocks too.  Hayden ate them all off in minutes :)
Then the kids went on an awesome treasure hunt with rhyming clues and everything.
They finally found the treasure in the dryer!
The treasure was an amazing bucket full of fun things, Taylor is showing the squinkies but her most favorite things in the world were in there: chapstick and finger nail polish!  The girl was in HEAVEN!!!  We are having so much fun with Taylor's preschool this year, we are getting sad it's almost over!
