Easter

We had such a fun Easter season this year.  Here are a few highlights.  Hayden being a doll :)
Coloring eggs
We went to an Easter egg hunt at Flip-n-out.  It was crazy!  It was a free event so everyone and their dog was there.  I was so glad we didn't lose the kids or get trampled by all the crazy parents trying to find all the free prise vouchers in the eggs.  Totally nuts!
Taylor got in on the action and was fighting this girl for some eggs.
You were not allowed to bring your basket on the trampolines, it was just what you could carry.  Some parents actually tucked their children's shirt into their pants and were loading the kids shirts up.  Tyson did just fine without getting all crazy about it!
Easter morning pictures

Don't you love matching outfits?  They are my favorite things ever!!!
We did Easter baskets and our egg hunt after church.

Tyson was acting like a bunny, he's such a nut!
Hope everyone had a nice Easter!!!!!

Our fun weekend

I took the kids this weekend to Bass Pro Shop, they were having free pictures with the Easter Bunny, an egg hunt and mini craft all for free!  Grandma watched Hayden so it was a pretty fun time not having to deal with a stroller.  The kids were not afraid of the Easter Bunny at all, I was so proud!  One little girl was in the middle of a  freak out and Taylor wanted to know what was wrong with her.  She didn't understand some kids are afraid of large bunnies wearing Easter egg vests :)Tyson is totally serious about coloring and tries his hardest to stay in the lines.

Taylor could care less about lines, with her it's all about the colors.  Her favorite are of course pinkie and purple.
We had to wait a while for the egg hunt after seeing the Easter bunny, so we roamed around the store.  Tyson asked me on several occasions if all the animals were pretend or real.  I said pretend, I didn't want to deal with nightmares.
The kids had a blast driving the boats and sitting on all the ATVs.
Onto the hunt! Tyson found an egg hidden in the animal display.
Taylor found one in the grill, it was funny to see eggs hidden in all of their merchandise displays.
The kids loved this lion display and here they are showing off their loot.
We ordered cookies from Bountiful Baskets and I had bought tons of sprinkles from Target, so on Saturday afternoon we decorated tons of sugar cookies.
Tyson is an old pro by now.
Hayden trying to get in on the action.
I am attempting to tame Hayden's wild hair.  This morning I tried two tiny little pig tails.  I thought they were adorable...
...they lasted two minutes.  Oh well, one day I will stop getting comments on this girl's crazy hair.  One person in Target actually asked me if I had put her finger in a light socket :)

April so far

Tyson had his pyogenic granuloma removed last week!!!  The other day one of the carpool Mom's said she hadn't seen the "thing" before and when Tyson got in her car she thought he had a candy or something stuck to his neck.  She said, "Hey bud what's that on you neck?"  Tyson replied, "I'm just different."  My heart was just broken, my poor little guy with this freak occurrence on his neck!  It was just so huge people were asking all the time what it was.  This was how it looked before we went:
And here it is gone!!!  Oh my goodness! We are SO HAPPY to be rid of that freaky thing!  Tyson did WONDERFULLY at the removal.  We did it all in office, he didn't have to be put out or anything.  They gave him a shot to numb the area and then the doctor came in, sliced it off and then burned the heck out of it.  It took all of 5 minutes.  The doctor said it shouldn't grow back but they can't say 100%  that it won't.  Tyson got a new Lego set for his trouble and now gets to go to Jump for Fun to celebrate!
Here are Ty and Hayd being nuts on the trampoline.
 Playing chase, Hayden's favorite :)
Hayden will not walk but she loves to do this jumping thing on her knees.  She learned it on the trampoline and now does it all over the house.  She thinks she is pretty funny too.
Hayden's little personality sure is coming out.  The whole refusing to walk thing has me a bit frustrated but she is such a funny girl I am usually laughing too hard to be frustrated for long.  She is so outgoing and wants to talk to everyone she sees.  She loves being naughty and doing what you just told her not to do.  She is a dancer like no other and has a booty shake that would put Beyonce to shame.
Tyson's preschool rode horses this week and Taylor tagged along too.  I'm glad my kids aren't scared of large animals, because then they would miss out on fun times like these!
Taylor was in heaven again.  She's such a horse fan, I told Jason to start saving up!

Such a fun field trip! (This boy on the end is in Tyson's class, isn't he a doll?)

Clark County Fair

We went the Clark County Fair again this year.  Let me set the scene: Before we left to make the 45 minute drive it started snowing in Las Vegas. (snow flurries anyway)  We get 10 minutes outside of Logandale and it starts raining buckets, but still we have to keep going!  When we pulled up to the fair it stopped raining and was 45 degrees.  Needless to say we had a fun, but freezing time!!!Taylor was so excited to ride on the horses.  She was grinning from ear to ear :)

 Isn't she a doll?
 He's no slouch either :)

Tyson went on this attraction last year and has been talking about it ever since.  When he saw them he ran right over.
Here he is in action.  If only I could find some way to make this in my backyard.  Endless hours of fun.
Tyson decided he was not afraid of anything this year and tried out the jumping attraction.
Here he is just starting out ...
...and here he is flying super high.  Don't you love his face?  He got into it after the initial shock of flying so high.
This year they even had a camel!?!  Weird huh?  The kids thought it was awesome so I guess that's good.  It cost us $12 for them to ride on it in once around a circle.  I guess it's expensive to get a camel to Logandale!
A family favorite, chocolate covered bananas, yum!

The ride home was awesome!  Jason and I talked the whole time with no interruptions, melt downs, or potty breaks.  Awesome!
Hayden and Grandma had a nice day at home.  Thanks, Grandma!!!
