Bass Pro Shop

We went on a field trip to see Santa at the Bass Pro Shop for Hayden's Mommy preschool.
While we waited for Santa to come the kids explored all the fun ATV's.
Ryan and her squish face smile.
She is such a character :)
Hayden and Parker being chauffeured by Cannon.
The Santa was so nice and took a ton of time to talk to each kid. Hayden of course asked for Dora and Taylor asked for Monster High and make up. I have told her many times that Mom told Santa make up is not allowed in our house.
The kids did some shooting after seeing Santa.
We wanted a cute group picture by the Christmas trees and this is what we got. Hilarious!!
Cannon was so wild we had to put him in my stroller. After that it was a lot calmer. We went to the casino part and saw all the fish.
Ryan has demolished our tree and all the ornaments she can reach.  She was so excited to see this tree she made a beeline right for it.
After getting all  Hayden and Taylor off to school we stopped at Michaels for some last minute Christmas party supplies.  Ryan has started her life of crime early. She stole 2 lindt truffles and we didn't even notice until we were strapping her in.
I am in for a wild ride with this one!

Last day at Knotts

When we checked the weather report it had a 80% chance of rain.  We went to the closest Target and bought rain ponchos just to be safe.  Right as we pulled up to Knotts Berry Farm it started pouring.  We debated about not going and then just decided to tough it out.
Ryan was against keeping her hat on and refused to keep her gloves on.  The only reason her poncho was still on was she couldn't figure how to get it off.
The kids love this mini roller coaster and went on it 3 times in a row. Not many people like rain hitting them in the face.  My crazies do :)
Tyson's pants got wet and he sported this rolled up look for most of the day.  Took me back to 1985 and pants cinching :)

The kids went on the log ride 4 times in a row. Rain ponchos are awesome!
I love Hayden! Everyone will smile for the camera even if they are wet and miserable but this girl will tell it like it is.  Her face pretty much sums up the day.
This was after warming up a bit. I love Ryan's new smile, she squishes her whole face when you tell her to smile.  It always ends up making her look like she's angry. Hilarious!
Taylor has my hair and we were both sporting some awesome looks the rest of the day.
Tyson, Jason, and I love the raging river ride.  It had stopped raining but we were still wet so Tyson got to go on back to back rides with Mom and then Dad before we took the ponchos off for the day.
We found these lovely ladies to take pictures with. I didn't notice Tyson's hand until I took the picture. That kid!
Ryan thought this Mountain Dew bottle was the best chew toy.  I'm sure we looked like parents of the year. She held onto that thing for hours.
I love snowmen and had to snap a picture of this tree.  So fun!
In the afternoon the rain stopped and these huge puffy clouds were left.  Crazy weather!
We finally got a covered pioneer wagon to watch the western show in.
Only to be told it was cancelled due to the rain causing technical difficulties.
Jason decided he had to have an ice cream funnel cake after that. I would have taken a picture of it but the kids swarmed Jason and it was gone in 2 seconds flat. We went back over to Camp Snoopy and had some fun there.
Ryan is finally liking all the little kid rides she can go on.  It must be all these trips :)
Poor Ryan's face!  We had gone to the Target pharmacy and bought all these over the counter medications to help but her poor face was beyond over the counter medicine.  When we got home the doctor said her excema on her leg had become in infected and caused an infection throughout her body.  All the kids have had an excema problem they have grown out of and we have never had excema get infected.  So freaky! We found the cheapest thing they sell in the park. A sucker for .35cents.
This is the face on a Mom who is done.  I could not feel my feet by this time. They had been wet all day and I was freezing!
We went back to the later show and saw our favorite western guys.  It was so cold but people still sat in the splash zone. Nuts!
Even though the kids know what is going to happen they still laugh at all the jokes.
Fun vacation! Can't wait to do it again next month :)

Knott's Berry Farm

We have loved our season passes to Knott's Berry Farm this year.
Don't you love Snoopy in his Christmas vest?  So cute.
Hayden, still working on decent faces for pictures.
The train ride lets everyone on so we go on it a bunch.
Same with the balloons.  While riding on this ride I honestly thought about throwing these girls out.  Yes they are cute but they are devils :)

In the short time from our last trip Hayden has grown even taller and is now able to go on every ride in Camp Snoopy without a parent.  Awesome!!
Ryan still has quite a way to go.  Lucky Daddy!

Ryan was constant fun on this trip (said dripping with sarcasm).  She has excema on her leg and is constantly scratching at it.  In a freak occurrence the excema became infected and spread throughout her whole body.  The red above her lip is how the infection first showed up.  It spread all over her lips, chin, hands, legs and arms.  It had a yellow crusty cover with white oozing sores.  Awesome!
After lunch we found this cool game that only needs 4 players and guarantees a winner.  Here I am telling all the kids that whoever wins is the winner and we are only playing it once.  Famous last words :)

Tyson of course won.  I have never seen a boy who loves stuffed animals as much as this kid.  Can you see Taylor's pout in the background?
Daddy decided to win an animal for his number one girl.
But we couldn't leave our number two girl out.
Or our number three girl.  This little game turned into quite an investment!

These little animals were a constant bother all day.  By the end of the day Hayden had torn all the clothing off of her penguin.  Such a destructive child!

The train was so cool decorated for Christmas.

We loved the Christmas Snoopy show.

Linus did his Bible verse in this show too.
They had a Santa's village and free pictures with Santa.  So great!
Such a bunch of nuts!
We finished our day by watching the Gift of the Magi.  It was really well done and fun.
Great day at Knotts!
