Tyson has been begging for months to go to the Springs Preserve and I promised him I would take him during winter break.
We started the day off at the Mad Science demonstration. It had fire, bubbles, and comedy.
The kids were enthralled!
Always have to get nasty wet from the huge spinning ball.
We went outside for a little animal spotting.
The girls had to pose on each animal. So funny.
We did get to see a desert fox.
And an adorable bunny. Don't you just want to take him home?!
We went over to the build your own town area and the kids had to demonstrate how strong they were.
Hayden didn't even try the barrel. She is such a crack up.
We hopped the train to the old west.
And met the people bidding on land.
The flash flood exhibit is always a must.
The kids loved all the Christmas decorations.
We spent a little time in the outdoor play area.
Tyson is a good big brother. First he leads the girls were they shouldn't go and when they get stuck he helps them out.
Hayden loves to be in trouble so she ran right back up there before I could stop her. Such a punk!
We could not get over this old Grandpa guy in the playground. Isn't he a character? His entire head all the way down the back was tattooed too. Can you imagine having him as your Grandpa? Hilarious!!
It was getting pretty busy outside so we checked out our favorite place before leaving. The kids could play with this display all day.
We made the mistake of letting Ryan see this mini bathroom display. She would not come out of the tub. The bathroom is her new favorite place in the house and we have to constantly make sure we close the doors after each use.
We had a great time at old Springs Preserve :)
The grandpa looks so jolly and scary at the same time. I feel like I am not getting use out of my year pass and must make a trip out there soon (probably with my kids kicking and screaming since they have been approx. 30 times).
ReplyDeleteyou must have gone on a weekend, we went on a weekday and it was empty and no shows going!
