Hayden's preschool Halloween party

On Halloween morning we had Hayden's preschool party at a cute little park.
Cinderella Parker and kitty cat Hay Hay.

It was great because the kids could run and play while we set up for activities.  Here Niki is as Batgirl.
 Best friends
 Haydren the pirate.  ARRR!
 Cannon as King Tut.  Hilarious!
 Captain America, aka Sawyer :)
Hayden loved being a kitty this year and now she thinks she owns all cat related things.  In a store if she sees anything with a cat on it she runs and screams "mine!"  I won't lie, I find it so funny I have purchased a few cat things since Halloween :)

The kids made pumpkin name tags to put on their pumpkin bags.

Then it was piñata breaking time.  I know, we live on the edge, giving 3 &4 year olds bats.  It was stressful! but fun :)

I love when the piñata breaks and there is that mad dash for candy.
We also did toilet paper bowling.  Here is Lily the witch.
After Lily we got out the big soccer ball to knock those pins down.  Super fun!
Brie made adorable rice krispy treats.  Rice krispies are my weakness, I could have inhaled that whole plate :)
We also had cookie monsters, mummy dogs, and strawberry punch.
My camera ran out of juice right before the pin the tail on the cat and the trick or treating.  Stink!
Such a fun party.  I hope the fun from this party has not ruined the kids for years to come, I mean what other Halloween parties can compare?  It's hard to start at the top :)
Love Mommy preschools!!

November 12x12

We have had an awful November so far.  The kids have been sick FOREVER!  We started our morning with snotty nose Ryan playing chase with the dog.
I was teaching Hayden's preschool from 9am to 11am.  We are learning the letter J this week.  I lay all of the supplies I am going to use out on the counter with a note for myself so I don't forget anything.  With 9 three & four year olds running around it is a lot easier to forget what you had planned to do than you would think :)
Our kids are reading the Book of Mormon again and Tyson and Taylor are drawing a picture to go with every 2 chapters we read.  Some pictures crack me up!  I am trying not to influence what they draw.  I want them to listen and draw what stood out to them.  My favorite so far is Taylor's multi color house, it is suppose to be "the house of Israel".  Hilarious!  I'll do a blog soon of the best pictures so far.  We just made it to Words of Mormon, wish us luck!
Tyson on his way out the door.  One of my favorite things about our house is the front porch area with a gate.  I love that we can listen for carpool and have the front door wide open.
The preschoolers came and it was J learning time.  We made jets out of popsicle sticks, practiced writing upper and lower case J's on the white boards, had jello for snack and then it was on to jam making.
All the kids sat so patiently for their turn to smash the fruit.  Super fun!
After all the kids went home with their jets and jam the girls asked for celery for lunch.  Let me say that again, they asked with no prodding from me for CELERY for lunch. I don't know how I lucked out with these great eaters but I am grateful!  Hayden ate an entire bunch of celery herself.  I was in awe.
Before school Taylor got a little piano practice in.
Right after Taylor left for school the Century Link guy came to my house and was here for 2 hours! No we are not dating, that is how messed up century link is.  We got it last month and I have cursed it every day since.
While the Century Link guy (Pete, we got acquainted in the 2 hours he was here.  I think he was going to hug me before he left until I gave him my hand to shake.) was here I worked on some Christmas crafts.  Gotta love pintrest and left over burlap :)

Pete left at 2:40pm and I was backing out of the driveway before he had a chance to move his car.  My afternoons are spent with this bunch of crazies.  This day is a squish day (as I affectionately call them) Tyson and Taylor have to share a seat because we have the baby with us.
On Tuesdays the kids have music right after school.  This day we brought 2 friends home so their parents could go to an appointment.
Tyson ate a quick dinner and was off to football practice the minute Jason walked in the door.  I tackled the laundry and tried to keep the girls from killing each other (not a simple task!).  When Jason got home and the kids were in bed we sat down to watch one of our favorite shows, Biggest Loser, only to find out that all the fixing Pete did to our stupid TV's wiped out all of our shows that were set to record.  Curse you Century Link!! Curse you!!!

Trunk or Treat

We came home Friday night from our big trip so we could make the ward's Trunk or Treat.  Parker & Hayden were so excited to be reunited.  It had been a long week of separation for them :)  Hayden loved being a kitty cat this year.
Tyson was Darth Mal this year.  He had a choice of being a swamp monster, a zombie rock star, or Bumble Bee the transformer and he chose this one. Weird.  Here he is trying to slay zombie Owen.
Taylor was a Monster High girl.  She is only five but we have had major drama over her costume.  So much drama I told her she will never dress up again! (I would like to see me try to enforce that one :)
Ryan was an ice cream cone.  I thought it was the cutest costume ever.  Aren't these babies adorable?  I love their look of what have they made us wear now?!
I found this great shirt last year that has yarn on the sleeves and says Spaghetti.  I knew it would come in handy!
Jason is such a good sport.  I found this costume last year on clearance and bought it on a whim.  I cut vinyl on my cricut and attached the stickers to it.  Hilarious!!
Gotta love Halloween!!

Knott's Berry Farm & Last Day of Vacation

Jason took the girls on this ferris wheel, I tried this the day before and had a panic attack about how wide open it is.  Ever time Hayden moved I thought she was going to fall out. Stress!!
Ryan loved running everywhere and had a blast on this wobbly bridge,
Hayden pretending to be scared of the over sized spiders and webs decorating Camp Spooky.
We have called Tyson the devil child since he was born so I had to get a picture of this great decoration :)
Tyson begged Jason and I to go on this horrible roller coaster.  We flat out refused so he went it alone.
Here is his face after.  We told him not to do it!
The boys and Taylor went on the log ride and me and the little girls sat in the shade with a fun toy.  A huge gust of wind rolled it over to us and no one claimed it so Ryan grabbed it.  She was in heaven.
Here is Hayden being her normal crazy self.  She still will not look at the camera unless it is her idea.  Gotta love this girl!

When you leave Camp Spooky the rest of Knott's Berry Farm is decorated very dark with Spanish skeletons or freaky clown heads..  It is very weird.
Before we left to drive home to Vegas we caught the Halloween show.  Heads and tails above the regular show!
Everyone loved it!
Aren't they adorable in their dress up clothes?!
Super fun trip and great weather too!  Couldn't have asked for much more.  Maybe kids who don't whine :)
