Kindergarten graduation

Tyson graduated kindergarten!!!
We have really loved Tyson's school.  It is a charter school and a lot of people were concerned with it being the first year but we have nothing but good things to day about it.
When we first went to his class he only knew one kid in his class and he was from our old ward and Tyson hadn't seen him since the ward split.  I was nervous that he would never come out of his shell but he made a ton of friends and let his goofy self shine through.
Each kid had to say what they wanted to be when they grow up and Tyson always tells us things like solider pilot who takes care of rhinos or something like a dinosaur bone finder.  So I was surprised to hear him tell his class and the assembled people that he wanted to be a police officer.
We have been so blessed to have this wonderful teacher this year.  The other two kindergarten classes had teacher issues and lost their teachers mid year.  Our wonderful teacher Mrs. Moore was constant and dependable.  I remember meeting her for the first time and Tyson was petrified and couldn't even tell her his name.  She clapped him on the back and told him, "You're going to be fine kid".  I love that she didn't baby him and really pushed him out of his shell.
She really got to know each of her kids and respects each of their little personalities.  The two kids in front of us she gave huge hugs but when Ty walked up she gave him a high five and reassured him that she would not hug him. (He is my kid after all)  She sat right next to him and it was her idea to do a crazy picture with tongues sticking out!  We just love her and and are so proud of all Tyson has accomplished this year!!!

Our Newest Addition

Introducing  Ryan Elizabeth DeMille

We went in for our planned C-section on May 24th at 10am.  Look at that belly!  I have never been so miserable being pregnant.  I had no ankles and couldn't do much with my hands before they would go numb because of swelling.
Here are our traditional funny poses before the baby comes :)

And here she is!!!!  All whopping 8lbs 6 ozs of her.  We were shocked how little she was!  We were taking bets before she was born, Jason's bet was 10lbs and mine was 9lbs 14 ozs. Our other girls were 9lbs 11ozs and 9lbs 6ozs so we expected another nine pounder at least.  The doctor was very impressed with my "geyser of water"  when he broke the water so that must have been what that huge belly was about.
 Isn't she a doll?!
He's not too shabby either :)  We really can't believe we are the parents of four, it kind of boggles our minds!
Here is the first time the kids met their new baby sister, Tyson and Taylor were in love but Hayden saved judgement for a while.
Tyson was so excited to meet her and couldn't stop talking about how cute she was.
Taylor will not be out done by Tyson, she has to be right in there and helping with the baby too.
 All three sisters!!!
 Our first family photo.
Ryan on the way home :)  We were so excited to get out of the hospital!
Grandma DeMille and the kids made this wonderful sign and we were so surprised when we pulled up and saw it.
Ryan is the best baby!  We are so excited to have her as part of our family.  Thank you to every one for all the calls, texts, presents, and well wishes!!  We feel so loved and blessed to have so many wonderful and caring people in our lives!!!

Somerset Miscellany

Tyson's school had spirit week a few weeks ago.  This was the only picture I got of him in costume.  It was Monday, cowboy/cowgirl day.
His school also did a fundraiser through the Cookie Dough Man.  Tyson came home so excited about selling and all the prizes he could win.  Jason took the order forms to work and one lovely guy bought a ton of plants so I helped Tyson the rest of the way and I must say if you get a plate of cookies on your door mysteriously, it could possibly be from us :)
He won the slime which was a huge hit for all of 2 minutes until Taylor took it outside and dropped it in the dirt.
Tyson's favorite prize was a toilet squirt thing.  He was so excited to fill it up with water and "show" people the surprise waiting inside.
The best thing I bought from the cookie dough man was this play dough that is actually cookie dough.  I knew I was teaching Taylor's preschool soon and it would be awesome to make X's out of.  Look at all those X's!  I just know years from now the kids will look back on learning the letter X and it will be their favorite letter :) Thank you Cookie Dough Man!
The kids loved it and I must say it was my funnest day of teaching preschool.  I really love these kids and have decided I am going to have to adopt them all.  I hope their parents won't mind too much :)

Disney on Ice

We went to Disney on Ice.  This time it was 100 years of characters.  So much fun to see all the different characters.
Nemo was fun, they did the scene with the sharks.  Hayden was enthralled!
They sang the original Mickey Mouse Clubhouse song and had a marching band.
We came straight from the church ball field so that is why we look so lovely :)
Aladdin was really cool with the tons of genies.
Taylor's favorite part of course was the princesses.  Do you consider Pochantes and John Smith princess royalty?  I don't and it was weird seeing them out there next to Snow White and Cinderella.  I guess they are trying to diversify the princesses :)
Our most favorite part of the show was the Small World part.  It looked just like the clock tower at Disneyland and then they had the "dolls" come out from all over the world.  Really fun!
Then they made it ten times cooler by lighting the whole thing up!  That Disney really know how to put on a show!!
Mandatory snow cones :)
Since they were doing 100 years they had to throw in Pinocchio.  Isn't that whale awesome? It actually swallowed Gepeto.  The kids were very concerned and Tyson was talking about it again just the other day.  He has a whole plan if he gets swallowed by a whale.  It includes a large amount of pepper he says.
John Smith's wig is just awful but the rest of the princes and princesses were really cool.
Happy faces, gotta love that kid!
I do love having kids because they get all the fun productions made for them!

TILE

Welcome to our craziness!!!
We finally, I mean FINALLY have flooring in our house!  Woohoo!!!!  This was the end of day 1.

End of day 2.  We stopped keeping track after that, it just seemed to go on forever.  (In real time it was a week and a half)
Hayden loved the "real" flooring!  This poor girl had to learn to crawl and then walk on nasty cement, so sad!

Even though the house was trashed the it didn't phase the kids too much :)
The hardest thing was losing my kitchen.
The 2nd saddest was the guys room.  Pouty babies who can't get to their TV's was not fun to deal with!
I just love pictures of real home make overs.  On TV they never show what happens to the toilet after it is taken out.  This has to be my favorite picture of our home remodel :)
The guys back in their own room, thank heavens!!!
Here is our finished entry way (imagine it without the white storage cabinet)  Isn't it gorgeous?!?  The problem now is if I see the kids walking too close to the new molding or if they drop anything on the tile I freak out!  I know the paranoia will pass eventually.
