We went to our annual Disney on Ice adventure. This time around they did three stories, all princesses.
They started off the night with the Princess and the Frog. It seemed to go on forever. They even did the songs while they were in the swamp and did a whole thing with the "shadowman". It was fun to see the frogs turn back to humans. That was our favorite part.
Then they had Cinderella, we are big Cinderella fans over here. For Christmas the girls even got Cinderella 2 and 3. It was fun to see the mice make a dress for Cinderelly.
They even had the part where the step sisters tear it apart.
Gotta love the Fairy Godmother, the whole place was singing Bippidy Boppidy Boo.
We always love fireworks too!
This carriage was awesome, the horses were people but you had to look really close to see. They walked around just like real horses do.
The ball was fun to see all the people dancing in a row, but of course the best part was...
...Cinderella meeting her prince!
Hayden was enthralled the whole time. She has always been so good at these events. Gotta love her :)
Taylor also was very good this time, a rare occurrence for her!
Ryan was happy to be held and loves to be where the action is.
Tangled was the last show. It was really great. Isn't that horse amazing?
They had the tower and the long flowing hair.
The kids loved when Rapunzel hit Flynn over the head with the frying pan. Why does violence always get the biggest laughs?
Flynn and Rapunzel did awesome flying tricks around the room on these two long sheet things.
They even had him cut her hair off, very exciting!
Then at the finale all the princesses and their princes came out and did a huge dance number.
Three happy girls...
...one fed up boy. We didn't tell him it was only about princesses until the day before. He was NOT happy!
Every party needs a pooper :)
Sadie has now heard about all of her friends going to this event so it seems as if I may actually have to take her next year.
ReplyDeleteWhere do they find all of these great ice skaters? I can't imagine there are that many people out there practicing as children in hopes that one day this will be there career. Although it would be awesome!
Looks like a fun show! Poor Tyson--that picture is hilarious!
