The circus

We went to the circus last Thursday and had a blast! We try to go every year and our whole family loves it.

We entered a drawing to win this picture the elephant was painting. I am such a loon, I really was getting worried if we had won, I didn't know where in the world I would display an elephant made painting :)

Get Tyson a snow cone and he is busy the whole time. Now Jason needs to get a second job to pay for it!!

Now that I have lost a little weight my neck is doing weird things and I have old flabby person neck. We are done with hcg and now onto Weight Watchers. Woohoo!

Hayden loved the circus but kept trying to escape out of our row. Chase is her new favorite game.

This dude did a publicity stunt for the circus the night before and shot himself out of a cannon on the strip.

Here he is flying through the air, the problem was he is also on fire! His name is the human torch and now we know why. The kids were very upset that he was on fire. Whenever I see these stunts I just feel so sad for the stunt person's mother. Why would a person act like this and worry their poor mother to death?

The elephant finale! We stayed until they were done and then got on the road to San Diego. More pictures to follow...we just lived through 5 days at Legoland and have tons of stories :)

May Miscellany

May was a crazy month that I am just now getting over!  Jason and I have started a horrible diet called hcg.  I am proud to report Jason has lost 30 pounds and I have just hit 20 pounds lost.  We have two more weeks left on the drops and then a month or so of maintenance to make the weight loss stick.  If I hear one more story about someone's third cousin who tried it and it didn't work I may scream.  So please keep those lovely stories to yourself.  We are super excited with the results but it is not for the faint of heart.  Let's just say May was not pretty around here.  This was one of our last days eating food.  We went to the Cheese Cake Factory and it was delicious!

 Taylor loves to line up her babies and talk on her cell phone.  She is such a little Mommy already!

 After one long May day I sat on the couch and passed out.  Taylor needs to play with my hair before going to sleep so this is how she got to it and then promptly fell asleep.  Thanks for the picture Jason :)

 We have also started our huge loft transformation.  After the reunion Grandma and Grandpa DeMille stayed for a week to help with this awesome project.  Thank you Grandma and Papa, you guys are the best!!!

Yesterday we were telling someone about the loft transformation and they said, "So your house is just always under construction, huh?"  Pretty much, pretty much.  One day this house will be how I want it and then I guess we'll have to move :)  I will have more of the construction pictures later.  Today is paint day, wish me luck!

Tyson's preschool graduation

Last week was Tyson's preschool graduation.  His preschool was called Especially for Youngsters and Mrs. Aubry was his teacher.

Here is Mrs. Aubrey with all of her classes.  She had a graduation ceremony and a program that the kids participated in.

These pictures make me so happy.  Tyson is the kid that will do no actions to songs.  If he sees you are listening to him singing he will stop.  But here he is doing every action with his classmates and having a great time.

Tyson's part was: Hello my name is Tyson, T-Y-S-O-N.  My favorite shape is a triangle, it has three sides.

For each kid Mrs. Aubrey presented awards and a scrap book of them that she had made throughout the year.  Tyson looks like he is being tortured, but he is so proud of his Safari Award.  He got it because he loves animals and has the best lion roar.

The next day Mrs. Aubrey had set up a field trip to Bambini's Pizza.  They have this great area for the kids to make their own pizza.  They had a blast!

Taylor of course had to be involved as well.

I threw in this last picture of Hayden to prove she was there.  Being the devil the whole time.  Sometimes I look through her hair and try to see where her horns are going to grow.  I have never met such a mean baby!  Yesterday she got mad at her baby stroller so she picked it up and threw it, then took the baby out of it and slammed it on the floor, and then crawled across the room to scratch my leg.  What the heck?  Hades Hade is what I call the devil, I mean little girl :)

DeMille Family Reunion

We went to the DeMille family reunion over the Memorial Day weekend.  Be warned there are like a million pictures on this post!  Enjoy :)

The girls had a few troubles taking naps and sleeping at night so we took them on a walk.  They both knocked out in less than 5 minutes.  We walked them back to the tent and put the whole stroller inside and zipped it up.  They slept in the stroller for over an hour.  Probably the most peaceful hour we had while camping!

Tyson didn't have anyone his age to play with so he became Garrett's shadow.  Garrett is so awesome he didn't mind one bit.

Sunday was so cold!  A few brave souls went to church at the Pine Valley ward when they came back they told us there was a 70% chance of snow.  So we decided to leave Sunday to try to beat the snow.

Sarah brought tons of things for the kids to do and kept them entertained.

Hayden still won't walk but she does like pushing things all over the place, she found this chair and walked it all over the cabin. 

Hayden decided this was a fun game of knocking the kid horseshoes off the ledge, but then...

...would have a melt down when she couldn't get them.

And then the snow started to fall.  We ate lunch and then got the heck out of lovely Pine Valley.  It was a fun reunion and nice to see all of Jason's family and catch up on what they are all doing.  Til next year :)
