Day 3 Disneyland Parkhopping

It's so funny on your last day at Disney, you want to get everything in.  They covered Sleeping Beauty's castle in "snow".  It looks really realistic.

We did the jungle cruise which is always fun.
We found a hotel that serves breakfast and we made lunch everyday, so all we had to pay at the park was for dinner.  Instead of PB &J everyday I tried to mix it up this time.  Here the kids are eating turkey & cheese tortilla roll ups.  Crazy amounts of money were saved!
Daddy and his girls.
Mommy and her boy.
For Halloween they actually had a whole Halloween town complete with petting zoo!
Hayden was in heaven. She talked to the goats and petted each one.
Ryan had her pointer out :)
We also went into the villain tent were they conjured up Cruella DeVil.  The kids loved her!  She made fun of everyone and kept shouting, "Puppies"!!  Hilarious!  The kids are still walking around shouting Puppies! at each other.
Taylor & Tyson talked us all into going on the swinging gondola.  Ahhhhh!
The baby was petrified and clung to us for quite a while.
She finally sat with Daddy but went stiff as a board every time the gondola swung.  Also on my never again list: swinging gondolas!!  Jason had a rough time on this too and was motion sick the rest of the day.  We are a couple of old farts!

For dinner we had the amazing broccoli & cheese bread bowls in Disney California.  I think the 4 hour drive is worth it just for one of their yummy bread bowls!
Tyson & Taylor opted for Turkey legs.  Such a couple of nuts!
Since we had saved so much on food the kids were allowed to buy a toy.  Tyson always wants the legos.
The girls got the new movie Frozen's dolls.
Here are some awesome shots that I stole on my phone.  Cars Racers.
California Screaming
Splash Mountain.
Such a fun time at Disneyland!

Day 2 Disney California

We went to Disney California for our 2nd full day of vacation.  I love early mornings when you can grab a character and there isn't a huge line.  Grandpa DeMille always talks to the kids in Donald Ducks voice so they loved getting to see Donald.
The merry go round is a must.  Halfway in though Ryan was done and kept trying to jump off.  Gotta love one year olds :)
The girls and I chose the non-swinging gondola.  They are my favorite.

After the boys went on California screaming, we met up and went on the Toy Story ride.  I have never seen this ride with a short line.  It is so fun and you want to go on it over and over again.  We limited it to one time this trip.

Afterwards we met up with Jessie and Buzz.

This is the new roller coaster in Cars Land.  It is awesome!
I am not a huge roller coaster person anymore and I usually have to be talked (begged) into new rides.  This one was super fun and so well done.  Love, love, loved it!
We have so much fun on the Monsters ride.  Ryan was a little unsure of it.

Hayden practicing her roar face.
Tyson decided to stand under the misters outside of the soaring ride.  Such a nut!
The kids loved running wild in the outdoor wood area.  It used to be all about Brother Bear and now it is all about Up and the wilderness scouts.

We caught the Pixar parade late in the afternoon.

Jack Jack was a high light with his flaming hair.

Ryan had the best seat in the house :)

They always squirt water at you off of each float.  So funny what people will do to avoid getting wet.

Mater was the end of the parade.  After that it was dinner and a 2 hour wait for the water show.  No pictures can do justice to the misery that is waiting for the water show.  As every kid had taken their turn losing their mind I swore that I would never see the dang water show again!  I couldn't even see half of it cause I'm so dang short.  It was a very long day and even longer night.

Disneyland Halloween Edition

We went to Disneyland specifically at this time of year for the Halloween decorations, they are the Best!!
The girls waiting for the bus.
We love riding the train all around the park.  It is a family favorite.
The Haunted Mansion is so awesome all decked out as Nightmare Before Christmas.
We always have to hit Pirates of the Caribbean early in the day.  The kids love it.
We also saw the new show they did where the princess meet & greet usually is.
The kids were mesmerized and it was the quietest they were the whole trip.
Disney is trying to push their lesser known princesses so Mulan & Pocahontas were in the show.  Kind of weird but they were fun.
Of course Rapunzel and Flynn were in the show.  My girls call her Tangled, they can never remember her real name is Rapunzel.
After the show I took the little girls to the play area.  Ryan loved being able to run around and explore.
Hayden turned into the school yard bully and if any kids tried to touch "her" toys she tried to step on their fingers. Such a bully!!
She also engaged in an acrobatic routine that had the other parents worried.
We love the submarine ride and all of the Finding Nemo features they've added.  Ryan was not thrilled when the lights went out.  She was very glad when the ride was over.
The Alice in Wonderland is so super fun.  I realized while on the ride that my kids have never seen the cartoon only the new version with Johnny Depp.  Parent fail on this one!
I found these super cute shirts at Joann's for $2 and the kids decorated them with fabric paint.  I love that Tyson was still so excited to wear a matching shirt with his sisters.  I know this won't last long and I appreciate him for being such a good sport.
The kids all wanted Daddy to ride on every ride with them.  I guess he is the super fun parent.
We caught the Disneyland parade and it was awesome.

We got a shot of Donald just for Papa :)
Ryan loved the parade and pointed at every float.  She also danced and smiled at all the music and fun.  Gotta love your first time at Disney even if you won't remember it when your older.

Fun full day at Disneyland.
