Halloween Jammies

Grandma DeMille sent the kids some fun jammies for Halloween. Aren't they darling?!?
Poor Hayden hasn't been feeling too well as you can see, her little nose and upper lip are totally raw from all the bugger wiping.
We asked Tyson to come out from behind the chair so we could get a picture of his jammies too and that's where this photo shoot went downhill fast.

My boy, my boy... such a nut!!!

Sundays suck

Sundays are always crazy around here, it just seems like any time slot we are assigned is hard.  The 9am is too early, the 11am is right in the middle of lunch/nap and 1pm is too late.
This year we have the 11am session.  It's really rough on Hayden, she has already been labeled "aggressive" and "emotional" by our nursery leaders.  This Sunday was especially fun when she and her friend Parker were both cranky and started fighting.  We were told when we picked her up she was screaming, scratching, and kicking.  (I taught her all her fighting moves)
We were told we should go home and have a "talk" with Hayden.  Before any "talking" or lunch happened the girl passed out right on the kitchen chair.  Should I take offense with our nursery leaders, or chalk it up to church stinks with a two year old?  I'm leaning to offense :)

Busy Saturday

We had another busy Saturday.  We started the day bright and early with Taylor's t-ball game.
She is now trying to hit left but it really doesn't matter she will not get over trying to kill the T.  Her coach is very patient with her and she thinks she is an awesome player so we are having fun :)
Then we were off to Tyson's last baseball game of the season.  In my head I had decided to not push baseball anymore.  I love it but I think Tyson's a little bored by it.  That was until I saw him warming up and playing catch.  He did awesome!  I have been so focused on him not hitting, I haven't realised what a good ball player he has turned into.
Here is our set up, yes the kitchen sink is in there somewhere!
This girl is crazy about sunflower seeds and has to have them while watching her big brother play.
Tyson still did not get a hit this season.
He always reminds me that he tried his very best and I guess that is all I can hope for.
 Tyson and his pal Eli.
 Waiting patiently for his trophy.
 Tyson and Coach Wade.
This year the coach got the boys dog tags which are really cool. I think he may like it more than the trophy.
Then we found out the trophy is also a piggy bank and he loves them both.
For dinner we headed to our favorite Macayos for Mark's birthday.
Mark just turned 61 years old but I would say he is at least 81 years old in crankiness!
All he wanted for his birthday were the movies Annie and West Side Story.  His sister came through and got him both.  We are now hearing a lot of singing coming from his room :)

Trunk or Treat

Tyson's school had their Trunk or Treat this Friday.  We had a ton of fun!
Taylor is La La Loopsy.  Her favorite part was wearing large amounts of my make up, she was in heaven.  Tyson is a zombie with bones hanging out.  This year he HAD to be something scary.  He narrowed it down to a dead ninja or a zombie.  I didn't let him wear the mask because I thought they weren't allowed so we tried our hand at skeleton make up.  Mark is Hulk Hogan which was Hilarious!  All the Dads would walk up with their kids and start talking to Mark, he was a mini-celebrity.  Two people actually took pictures with him!  I wish I would have had him wear the moustache.  I am saving it for our next Trunk or Treat.
Taylor was suppose to be a belly dancer like Hayden but begged to be something else.  I surprised her with this costume and thought she would be so excited.  This was our conversation, "Hey Taylor I have the biggest surprise for you, I bought you a La La Loopsy costume!!" "Oh I wish it were Belle."  Imagine my little bubble of excitement popped and all the air spilling out.  That is my and Taylor's whole relationship in a nut shell.
 Taylor and her friend Becky.
Poor Ryan was suppose to be a zebra but never made it to getting the whole costume on.
Hayden fell sleep on the way there and we let her be!  She woke up in time to see the end part of the fun.
We made it through tons of candy and trick or treaters and were still smiling!
One last picture of the cutest belly dancer.  It really is the best costume ever for Hayden, we always knew where she was!

Cute Ryan

Ryan had her four month check up not too long ago.
She had to get 4 shots and also the polio drink.  So sad!
She is in the 95%+ for her weight and her head, but only the 25%+ for her height.  She's my kind of girl!
Our doctor likes to do guestimate their adult stats on their stats as children.  It was funny because Taylor also had her 4 year old shots at the same time and he said if Taylor keeps growing how she has she will be 5'7.  If Ryan keeps growing how she has she'll be 5'1.
Everyone says she looks the most like Jason out of any of the kids. Maybe.  I guess we'll see.
I love all her cute little rolls, she is such a doll :)
Sometimes the cuteness is just too much, even the dog has to get in on the action!!

October 12x12

Our day started bright and early. 5am to be exact!  Ryan has been really congested lately and she was up most of the night.  Hayden has been going through something as well and has been insisting on sleeping with us.  But the reason we decided to just get up was this boy, who has croup.  I googled croup and it is for children 3 years and under.  Why is my almost 7 year old still getting it I ask you?

Jason went to the temple to do some of my family names.  Such a good guy!  This poor man didn't know how much work he was getting into when he married me!  This minute I have over 300 male names waiting to be done. He does as many as he can and never complains about all the crazy Russian names :)
Tyson had a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese to go to.  This was one of those Mom dilemmas.  He doesn't sound great but he is dying to go to the party.  Croup is an inflammation of the upper respiratory system and I didn't feel he was contagious so I chose to let him go.
I wanted to make the most of my time, so the girls and I went over to the Best in the West shopping center and got a bunch of errands done.  I packed snacks and tried to be ready.  The party was for two hours and I wanted to keep the melt downs to a minimum :)
We first went to Petsmart.  Nickel our crazy dog is allergic to a bunch of things and she only eats one certain type of food that is only sold at Petsmart.  The kids love this store and have to check out all of the pets.
Second we went to JoAnn's.  I love their fabric remnants which are always half off.  I also needed some buttons for a shirt.  Here is Taylor posing with her favorite buttons she found.  I like this picture because it shows my caravan.  The stroller, that Taylor insisted on pushing (She really was a big help) and Hayden contained in the shopping cart.  That girl is still too wild to let her roam the aisles.  Usually around three is when they figure out how to behave in public.  With Hayden I'm hoping for anytime before age 25.
After JoAnn's we headed over to Babies R Us because they have a Mother's Lounge and Ryan needed to be fed.  Ryan did so well and was very patient through all the stores.  Taylor found this room display of La La Loopsy, she was in heaven.  It is her new favorite thing and she begged for it all for Christmas.  If you look closely you can see in Taylor's hand is not one but two hand sanitizers.  She calls them her "hand sans" and carries them everywhere.  Where did this child come from?
After picking Tyson up we swung by Wendys and had a yummy lunch.
Jason brought us home an awesome treat from the temple.  The best cinnamon rolls ever!  They have gotten me to the temple all by themselves a few times :)
We had a crazy rain storm on Thursday and it totally washed out our rocks in the front of the house.
Jason fixed all the rocks and the girls rode bikes.  Tyson had a relapse of croup and had to be in the house.

I spent the afternoon cleaning up from the crazy rain as well.  I seriously hate the rain because of the mud the dog and the wheelchair track in the house.  I have done these floors 4 times now and they still look the same!
Jason got everyone leftovers for dinner and I went to CPR training.  It was a pretty quick class and is always nice to see those emergency videos they come out with.  They have these trainings in a bunch of different places, this time it was in an old folks home.  I sat and watched this huge spider cross the room right for me and when it got too close I had to act.  I stood up and smashed the thing.  5 minutes later I feel something on my foot and look down and see a huge cricket on me.  I jumped out of my seat and kicked my sandal off.  Needless to say no one wanted to be my CPR partner after freaking out about all the bugs.  Good times!  But now I am certified again for another 2 years, if anyone needs chest pounds and rescue breathing, I'm your girl.

T-ball

Taylor started her 1st t-ball season!!
She has one other girl on her team but the other girl refuses to go out on the field or play so Taylor is kind of the only girl.
We haven't worked too much with her but she is picking it up really well.  She's had many years of being drug to Tyson's games so I guess it rubbed off on her :)
Taylor is totally tricked out with her pink gear.  She loves her pink bat and glove.  She also has a pink bag to keep it all in and a pink helmet.  They don't require the kids to wear helmets in this league but we didn't know that so she has her pink one just in case.
She likes to kill the T.  The coach is working on teaching her to swing level.
She loves running around the bases.
Aren't they so cute?  I just love t-ball, it is so fun!!
Taylor has decided she doesn't want to do ballet, tap, or gymnastics again but she really likes t-ball so here's hoping we have finally found something she will really get into instead of collecting chapsticks.  (How many chapsticks can one girl own?  I swear she is going for some sort of world record!)
